You know, the nature of artistic creation is such, that it needs a tranquil and well-rested mind - and the same is true, for instance, when I drive a car, or when I fly an aircraft. Then some of you may 'suggest' "okay, then don't sleep so much -) " ! As if I'd be a robot. Which is totally normal for so many of you - we both know what hard work is! But the day consists of only 24 hours for me as well. I just take a shower, eat something, sleep. After work I'm tired, for even trying to sit down with my instruments.
Nothing is "too small" !!!īecause, you know, when I must do "something else" to pay the bills (something that I do only for the money, no vocation whatsoever), then this takes away my precious (and limited) Time, and during the hours of this type of "survival work" I obviously cannot practice, I cannot make new recordings, cannot prepare the projects in my head or on the computer, cannot fix a cable, etc. then I could continue to make a living as a musician. the change that you would give to a homeless person on the street. only a tiny little amount that you feel comfortable with.
